1. Who we are
PicaToi is operated by Aaron Virgile Behanzin, a sole proprietorship registered in Massachusetts, United States. Address: 491 Wahconah St, Pittsfield, MA 01201, USA. Contact: hello@picatoi.com. See our Legal notice for full details.

2. What we sell
PicaToi turns your photo into a personalized paint-by-number kit. Every kit is made to order from the artwork you approve in the Atelier. Because each kit is made to your specification, it cannot be resold or restocked.

3. Your photo and your rights
You confirm that you own the photo or have permission to use it, and that every identifiable person in it has agreed to its use. You keep ownership of your photo. You give us a limited license to process it, create artwork from it and print your kit, and nothing else. Our Privacy policy explains how your photo is handled and deleted.

4. Content we do not accept
We automatically check uploaded images. We do not accept illegal content, sexual or nude content, violence or hate imagery, or photos of other people without their consent. We may refuse or cancel an order for these reasons, and we may keep a limited record of the check (labels only, not your photo) as described in our Privacy policy.

5. AI-generated artwork
Your artwork is created with AI. Results can differ from your expectations and from the preview on screen, for example in color and fine detail. You approve the artwork before it is printed. You own your artwork. We do not claim ownership of it, and we will not show it publicly without your permission. Because the artwork is created with AI, the law on who holds rights in it is still developing, and your rights in the original photo depend on who took it.

6. Orders and prices
Prices are shown at checkout in the currency displayed. An order is accepted when we send your order confirmation. We may cancel an order if there is a pricing or availability error, and we then refund you in full.

7. Cancellation, replacements and refunds
- You can cancel an order only before your artwork has been printed. Email support@picatoi.com immediately.
- We do not accept returns.
- Damaged or missing items are replaced.
- A misprint, or a print in the wrong art style, is reprinted.
- If we sent the wrong artwork, you receive a full refund.
Full detail: Replacements and Refund Policy. Report damaged or missing items within 14 days of the delivery date shown by the carrier.
EU/UK note: the legal right to withdraw from a distance contract does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(c)). This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty or not as described.

8. Shipping
See our Shipping policy. Delivery dates are estimates.

9. Our responsibility
We are responsible for faulty or non-conforming goods as required by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays outside our control. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Intellectual property
The PicaToi name, logo, website and art styles belong to us. You may not copy them for commercial use.

11. Privacy

12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without affecting the mandatory consumer rights of your country. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory laws of their country of residence.

13. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force when you order applies to your order.
